Resolution & Troubleshooting

Asset History Agent

Assembles every prior interaction with a specific serial number into one dated, readable account.

Overview

A technician arriving on site should not have to reconstruct the service history before they can start diagnosing. The Asset History Agent pulls every work order, case, parts replacement, firmware update, and preventive maintenance record tied to a serial number from every connected system and assembles them into a single dated timeline, surfaced in the case and on the technician's device. Recurring faults are flagged automatically, so the pattern is visible before diagnosis starts. No piecing records together across multiple systems in the customer's parking lot.

Capabilities

Assemble a complete service timeline

Pulls every work order, case, parts record, and PM history tied to a serial number from every connectedsystem into one dated account.

Surface parts replaced, firmware updates, and PM history

Every relevant event is included: components swapped, firmware applied, and maintenance performed.

Flag recurring faults and repeat repairs

Identifies patterns across the full history and surfaces them prominently so the technician sees the trend before diagnosis begins.

Deduplicate records across CRM, FSM, and ERP

One visit reads as one event, not three entries across three systems.

Example use case

Agent workflow

1. Asset identified by serial, scan, or case link

The technician queries by serial number, scans the asset barcode, or opens directly from the case record.

2. Records pulled from every connected system

Work orders, cases, parts records, and preventive maintenance history are retrieved across all integrated platforms.

3. Timeline assembled, deduplicated, and dated

All records are merged into a single chronological account with duplicates removed.

4. Recurring faults and repeat repairs flagged

The agent identifies patterns across the full history and surfaces them prominently.

5. Summary surfaced in the case and on the technician device

The assembled timeline is written back to the case and delivered to the technician's mobile interface.
